Donna Hutton has been a force on the Vancouver floral scene for over two decades. Her unique sense of style has brought brides from all over the world to her charming shop on West Broadway. The presence of her flowers in celebrations and private homes always sets the tone for elegance and beauty.
The Beginning?
Always be careful of drinking too much champagne while dining at John Bishop’s! You may end up saying ‘I’m going to fix those flowers’. Then John might say, “Well,do you do flowers?” She said “no no no”, but her friends said “yes, yes yes”, and John said “Come talk to me someday”, ... and so began the journey, lasting over a decade.
Her shop on West Broadway opened in 1996, which led to a natural partnership with Lumière, lasting for yet another decade. See above photo!
Donna Hutton now has a studio in Kitsilano, where she continues transforming the beautiful into the more beautiful. Never content to stand still, she has embraced the world of interior design.
Hence, the birth of...
